Biography

Britt Hewitt is a singer/songwriter based in New York City. She holds a Bachelor in Music from The Juilliard School in Voice, and is a member of The New York Songwriters Circle.

Britt was a contestant on The Voice in 2015. She was a finalist in the My NYC Song Contest in 2018 for her song “Left Behind.”

In opera, Britt has performed roles like Miles in The Turn of the Screw, and The Spirit in Dido and Aneas, in venues from Holland Park in London to the Château de Versailles. Britt is creating the role of Dawn in Experiments in Opera’s upcoming Everything for Dawn, as well as Joe in Opera Harmony’s The Den.
